Operating in the super trendy Athleisure sector, we are a young business with big plans!
We design and manufacture a high quality and highly covetable clothing range incorporating collections comprising of leisurewear and sportswear sold online and through retail stores.
Our collection comprises of items for men and women through a range of sizes from XS - XL.
The vision for the business is to challenge the traditional – why does a store have to be sports or fashion, why not both? Both genres of clothing should be given the same level of design integrity.
Our target consumers are men and women between the ages of 17 and 60 who live a modern lifestyle no longer focused on the traditional 9-5 for whom exercise is not a luxury but a way of life.
Research – it is expected that you will do ongoing research in to both fashion and popular culture utilising all media from Instagram to WGSN to style blogs to TV shows and monitor trends emerging from the catwalk and in street-style.
Reporting – it is expected that once you have identified an emerging trend it is reported to the wider team to form the basis of the creative direction for future collections.
Designing – it is expected that you will work to a brief provided by the business to produce an aesthetic concept for each season from which development drawings will be produced and when approved, translated in to production ‘tech packs’ identifying fabrics, fastenings and finishes.
Patterns, Sampling & Fitting – it is expected that once the final drawings have been approved patterns will be produced to enable the production of toiles which you will then critique to enable the production of samples which are then fitted and the final pattern executed.
Range Plan – it is expected that once final patterns are signed off a range plan is produced detailing the full list of garments making up the collection which is to be manufactured for the next season.
Bespoking – it is expected that you will have a strong knowledge of graphic design, photoshop and illustrator as our CORE garments are customised with prints both for AIM and with the branding of our clients.
We want employees who LOVE what they do!
We would expect to see an ongoing passion for the creative, fashion and garment manufacturing industries.
As part of a small (and incredibly enthusiastic) team you must be able to work well both with others and under your own initiative.
As Autumn Winter ’17 approaches, we are turning our attention to how we update our CORE collection. Please prepare to present to us your conceptual ideas for the development of colourways and unique prints to be applied to the garments in line with the trend forecasting for the season.
