SmartX Europe has opened a call for Expressions of Interest for innovative projects in the smart textiles manufacturing chain. It is intended for European SMEs and start-ups within the smart textile and related sectors.
The call is open to teams led by an SME (under the EU definition) or start-up legally based in EU member states or H2020-associated countries.. If successful with an initial expression of interest, your team will be coached during the application process by an assigned member of the SmartX consortium.
The funded projects will obtain an acceleration support up to 60,000 euros during a year, plus mentoring sessions from SmartX consortium partners. The first call opened in December 2019.
Projects must be focused on driving an existing prototype through the manufacturing chain or at least parts of it. Applicants must demonstrate the implementation of ideas for the target markets (Protection, Health and Well-being, Industrial) and add value to existing markets.
The deadline for Expressions of Interest is February 15, 2020.
